Team Lead, Professional Services-Grants (GovTech)

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the Oakville, Ontario office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Compensation: CAD 88,000–110,000 per year

Purpose-built, cloud-based software supports procurement, budgeting, payments, and grants management for public-sector and government organizations across North America.

What you will do

• Lead the implementation team while serving as an Implementation Manager for customer accounts.
• Own client onboarding from kickoff through adoption, including requirements gathering and implementation planning.
• Configure SaaS products, workflows, integrations, data loads, reports, and simple scripts to meet customer needs.
• Coordinate with sales, product management, customer success, and technical support to ensure smooth transitions and resolve issues.
• Deliver customer training and maintain implementation documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
• Improve implementation processes and methodologies while managing risks, scope, communications, and change management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information systems, or a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of client-facing implementation experience, preferably in SaaS.
• Experience managing a team and leading customer workshops.
• Strong understanding of software implementation processes, methodologies, problem-solving, and analytical practices.
• Technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new software applications.
• Experience designing reports from relational databases; SSRS or Power BI experience is a significant plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with CRM, ERP, enterprise software, or GovTech implementations.
• High comfort level with Excel and experience with simple scripting or data preparation.
• Familiarity with Jira, Cloud Coach, Autotask, Asana, or similar project-tracking tools.
