Senior Implementation Manager (GovTech)

Location: Hybrid in Atlanta, Georgia, with 3 days per week in the Atlanta office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

What you will do

• Serve as the primary client contact throughout end-to-end onboarding, including kickoff meetings, requirements gathering, and adoption.
• Configure SaaS products, system settings, workflows, and integrations using out-of-the-box functionality where possible.
• Prepare data in Excel, perform initial data loads, write simple scripts, and create ad hoc customer reports when required.
• Manage implementation scope, communications, risks, opportunities, change-management guidance, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with sales, product management, customer success, and technical support to ensure a smooth transition from sales to adoption.
• Deliver customer training, maintain user guides and implementation documentation, and improve implementation processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a client-facing implementation role, preferably in SaaS.
• Strong understanding of software implementation processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, workshop facilitation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Technical aptitude for learning new software applications and troubleshooting implementation challenges.
• Ability to work from the Atlanta office 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with CRM, ERP, enterprise software implementations, or GovTech.
• Experience authoring reports from relational databases using SSRS or Power BI.
• High comfort level with Excel.
• Familiarity with Jira, Cloud Coach, Autotask, Asana, or similar project-tracking tools.
