Senior Implementation Manager (GovTech)

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the Atlanta, Georgia office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The broader company also operates from an Oakville office.

hirify.global provides cloud-based software for procurement, budgeting, payments, and grants management to public-sector and government organizations across North America.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary client contact throughout onboarding, lead kickoff meetings, gather business processes and requirements, and advise on implementation best practices.
• Carry out project management activities, including managing implementation scope, communications, risks, opportunities, and customer change management.
• Configure system settings, workflows, integrations, and out-of-the-box SaaS functionality; use Excel for data preparation and initial data loads, write simple scripts, and create ad hoc customer reports as needed.
• Coordinate with sales, product management, customer success, and technical support to ensure a smooth transition from sales to product adoption.
• Develop and deliver client training, implementation documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
• Identify and resolve implementation issues, escalate complex problems, keep clients informed, and improve implementation processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Computer Science, or Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a client-facing implementation role, preferably in the SaaS industry.
• Strong understanding of software implementation processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport, collaborate with clients and internal teams, and lead workshops.
• Technical aptitude, ability to learn and navigate new software applications quickly, and ability to identify and address implementation challenges.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• High comfort level with Excel.
• Ability to design and document reports generated from relational databases; SSRS or Power BI experience is a significant plus.
• Experience implementing CRM, ERP, or other enterprise software, particularly GovTech solutions.
• Familiarity with Jira, Cloud Coach, Autotask, Asana, or similar tools for project tracking and time management.
