Content Manager - Team Lead (French Speaker)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid schedule with 1 remote day per week

What you will do

• Manage and monitor multilingual linguistic projects, including schedules, budgets, deadlines, and profitability.
• Ensure content quality across different styles, terminologies, formats, client tones, and brand identities.
• Collaborate with subsidiaries in target markets and internal teams.
• Brief and coordinate freelance writers, translators, editors, proofreaders, and reviewers.
• Supervise, guide, and develop team members by setting objectives, monitoring performance, fostering collaboration, and supporting professional growth.
• Coordinate all activities related to linguistic projects and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of proven experience in translation project management or a related role within the language services or digital/tech industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Communication, Translation, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Airtable, Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of CAT tools and translation technologies, including Trados, MemoQ, Wordfast, or similar.
• Fluency in written and spoken French and English.
• Client-oriented mindset with demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI and automation platforms.
• Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies such as QA and LQA.
• Knowledge of process improvement frameworks such as Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen.
• Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile.
• Additional language skills.
