Senior Business Operations Specialist (Aerospace)

Salary: $104,250–$159,850 per year

What you will do

• Contribute to proposal management, estimates at completion, earned value, milestones, and program checkbooks.
• Coordinate meetings and functional inputs from finance, supply chain management, operations, and other functions.
• Develop, refine, and present executive briefing packages, data charts, and reports.
• Compile and analyze operational and financial metrics using data aggregation, data mining, trend analysis, and reporting.
• Design and continuously improve reporting and analytics processes to support data-informed decisions.
• Consult with operations, finance, human resources, quality, and other business managers on integrated estimates, business cases, and milestones.

Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, or 7 years of experience with a master's degree.
• Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Business perspective, business acumen, and analytics skills.
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, pivot tables, advanced formulas, and charting.
• Detail-oriented, self-starting approach with strong written communication, including executive-level presentations, and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• Strategic metrics experience and an enterprise-level program perspective.
• Ability to support storytelling and visualization for executive program reviews.
• Finance analytics and metrics experience, with the ability to simplify complex information.
• Ability to design and develop reports and analytics within the current product suite.
• Ability to perform in-depth analysis, including variance explanations and metrics validation.
• Advanced Excel analysis with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and HLOOKUPs.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills with critical and creative thinking in chart development.
