Forecasting and Demand Planning Specialist (Polaris Experience)

Location: Plymouth, Minnesota, USA; onsite role.

Starting pay range: $66,000–$87,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain vehicle, accessory, and distribution forecasts using Excel, dashboards, and ERP data while supporting data integrity.
• Lead monthly SIOP and demand reviews with cross-functional teams to align forecasts, inventory requirements, and business needs.
• Forecast, track, analyze, and report fleet and operational metrics to management.
• Review fleet orders for accuracy and feasibility, identifying shortages, excess stock, and production capacity constraints.
• Coordinate vehicle logistics and delivery activities, manage fleet model availability in the ERP system, and monitor model-year transitions and new product initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with partners, support vehicle disposition and repeat purchases, and communicate order information, product changes, constraints, and fleet considerations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in relationship- or needs-based forecasting, demand planning, or logistics.
• Ability to manage relationships across multiple organizations and locations while addressing varied business needs.
• Experience developing and delivering presentations and communicating with groups and clients of varying sizes.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including rapport-building, stakeholder influence, diplomacy, and conflict resolution.
• Ability to think conceptually, develop strategic plans, navigate challenges, remove barriers, and work through issues.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
• Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

• Automotive or powersports industry experience and working knowledge of outfitters and their functions.
