Sr Supervisor, Production - Assembly & Test (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Beaverton, Oregon; on-site role in a microelectronic precision manufacturing cleanroom. Regular schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday from 5:00pm to 5:30am. Flexible support for a 24/7 operation, extended hours, after-hours emergency calls, and possible weekend and holiday work are required.

Salary: $88,900–$116,655 per year, plus a 15% night-shift differential and eligibility for quarterly profit-sharing bonuses.

What you will do

• Lead the night-shift Probes Test and Assembly operations, owning safety, delivery, quality, throughput, and manufacturing WIP priorities.
• Serve as the night-shift safety champion and Emergency Response Team member; identify, contain, document, escalate, and help resolve safety incidents and corrective actions.
• Monitor WIP, dispatch resources, balance the production line, adjust staffing and priorities, and manage high-priority lots to meet shift output goals.
• Partner with engineering, planning, quality, downstream customers, and suppliers to resolve production roadblocks, tool and material constraints, audit findings, and process issues.
• Supervise hourly employees, including assignments, timekeeping, breaks, progressive discipline, coaching, recognition, cross-training, hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and succession planning.
• Lead shift huddles and passdowns, reinforce work instructions and quality processes, and perform production work when required by loading, staffing, or business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field and at least 5 years of related experience; equivalent work experience may replace the degree.
• Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a management or leadership role with direct reports.
• Experience with SQL and/or Access databases, including pulling, manipulating, and analyzing data for metrics reporting.
• Experience tracking metrics, on-time delivery, and performance analysis.
• Strong knowledge of ERP and MRP systems.
• Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
• Outstanding communication across organizational levels and with external customers and suppliers; excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a microelectronic precision manufacturing cleanroom and support a 24/7 operation, including extended hours, emergency calls, weekends, and holidays as needed.
