Quality Manager (Semiconductor Construction)

Location: On-site in Chandler or Phoenix, Arizona, United States.

Annual salary: $118,150–$234,950 USD.

hirify.global Foundry Construction and Sourcing builds semiconductor manufacturing facilities, including new wafer fabrication factories, fab conversions, process tool installations, infrastructure, and progressive build projects.

What you will do

• Develop and implement comprehensive construction quality management plans and third-party resource plans for semiconductor construction projects.
• Review and approve quality assurance plans and construction project execution plans from Design-Builders, Construction Managers, and Multi Prime trade contractors.
• Monitor construction quality, inspections, non-conformance reports, quality metrics, and compliance with drawings, codes, specifications, hirify.global Master Construction Specifications, and contractual requirements.
• Manage third-party inspection firms, including scope, certifications, audits, budgets, timecards, billing, and change orders.
• Lead quality incident analysis, issue mitigation, cost-reduction initiatives, and quarterly contractor quality-program assessments.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders and cross-site Virtual Factory teams to develop best known methods, standardize practices, and share learnings.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Construction Management and Construction Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
• One of the following education and experience combinations: HS/GED with 9+ years of experience in quality assurance/control, construction management, military construction, civil engineering, facilities maintenance, logistics, safety, technical inspection, or related military/technical work; a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of work experience; or a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of work experience.
• Strong communication and written presentation skills.
• Negotiation and conflict management skills.
• Ability to lead teams and projects with minimal supervision and manage multiple firms.
• Ability to build relationships with hirify.global, Design-Builder, Construction Manager, Multi Prime, contractor, and other project stakeholders.
• Project management, leadership, and project-deliverable execution skills.
• Proactive approach to mitigating quality issues before they occur.
• Ability to work with varied individuals and disciplines across semiconductor construction projects.

Nice to have

• Experience in construction testing and standards.
• Process, mechanical, and civil testing experience.
• Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• BIM360 experience.
