Senior Project Manager, Manufacturing (Medical Devices)

Annual base pay: $124,300.00–$211,700.00

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional manufacturing and industrial projects focused on capacity expansion, cost reduction, process improvement, operational excellence, and continuity of supply.
• Manage projects from concept through implementation, acting as the primary interface between project teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Develop and execute project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, quality, communications, risks, resources, procurement, and project integration.
• Monitor milestones, dependencies, deliverables, team effectiveness, budgets, timelines, and resource constraints; escalate issues when appropriate.
• Provide project status updates, executive summaries, and recommendations, while facilitating cross-functional decisions and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable quality-system requirements using design reviews, specifications, validation protocols, documentation, and test reports; support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a STEM-related degree is preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, or engineering projects; 10+ years is preferred.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional manufacturing construction or expansion projects.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, stakeholder communication, and budget oversight.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with project management tools for planning, tracking, and execution; Smartsheet is preferred.
• Experience with cleanroom operations and facility projects.
• Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments; medical device experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• PMP, CAPM, or another project management certification; certification is preferred but not required.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, or engineering projects.
• STEM-related bachelor’s degree.
• Smartsheet experience.
• Medical device experience in regulated manufacturing.
