Project Manager, Process Improvement (Clinical Research)

Location: Hybrid; US, Farmingdale, NY / New York

Salary: $110,520.00–$138,150.00 annually, with potential bonus, stock compensation, and commissions depending on role and performance.

What you will do

• Promote a culture of process improvement and streamline processes to increase efficiency, add business value, and meet client needs.
• Conduct workshops with Subject Matter Experts to map current processes, identify issues, and design improved workflows.
• Support metrics definition, evaluation, reporting tools, and data-driven decision-making.
• Develop and manage project plans covering timelines, budgets, resource allocation, scope, and delivery.
• Lead cross-functional project teams, coordinate collaboration, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and issues, implement corrective strategies, and complete additional duties assigned by Senior Management.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in a laboratory or clinical research-based environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in project management, business, or a related field is preferred, with significant project management and team leadership experience.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma or related process improvement methodologies.
• Proven experience managing projects from inception to completion within scope, time, and budget constraints.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, including the ability to manage project teams and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including relationship-building and stakeholder expectation management.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, with a commitment to project goals and continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2.
