Application System Analyst Lead - IM Support Business (Epic)

Location: Irving, TX, US; onsite at 5101 North O Connor Boulevard. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. May require travel and additional hours during critical problems.

What you will do

• Lead application support across Incident, Problem, Request, and Change Management, serving as an escalation point for the assigned focus area.
• Represent the focus area through implementation, build, configuration, testing, go-live support, optimization, and vendor changes.
• Lead process and requirements analysis, process mapping, stakeholder analysis, specification gathering, and project status reporting for complex projects.
• Design, analyze, configure, document, and maintain integrated application processes in collaboration with application, compliance, development, and business process teams.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, distribute workload, manage large or sensitive projects, and oversee deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor analysts, facilitate cross-training and workgroups, communicate with senior leadership and customers, and resolve roadblocks and escalated issues.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in supported healthcare, business, or information systems.
• Detailed healthcare knowledge and systems expertise, including expert understanding of assigned clinical or business operations, processes, and workflows.
• Proficiency in the assigned Epic module or Epic certification by the employment date; certifications and proficiencies must remain current through new-version training.
• Ability to independently analyze, design, configure, and communicate complex integrated application solutions with minimal instruction.
• Ability to independently coordinate and lead projects, develop functionality with little to no direction, and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent project management, written and verbal communication, customer service, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to present complex data using charts and graphs.
• Ability to mentor peers, provide guidance on non-routine or escalated issues, and potentially supervise or direct the work of team members.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor’s degree focused on healthcare, business, or information systems.
• Supervisory experience.
• Two or more years of project management experience or equivalent.
• Certification in the assigned area of focus.
