Application System Analyst Senior (Healthcare)

Location: Irving, TX, US; onsite at the CHRISTUS System Office. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Minimum overnight travel up to 10%; additional travel and hours may be required.

What you will do

• Analyze, design, configure, develop, test, document, implement, support, maintain, and optimize assigned healthcare applications, solutions, and business processes.
• Lead quality assurance and complex integrated testing initiatives, including testing project management, validation, and documentation.
• Analyze requirements, workflows, process maps, stakeholder needs, dependencies, and gaps, and provide cross-application recommendations.
• Manage medium- to large-scale complex projects and requests, coordinating customers, operational leaders, technical teams, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application incidents and requests, coordinate vendor code changes, and investigate infrastructure-related application issues.
• Provide status reporting, user and coworker training, mentoring, application guidance, and recommendations aligned with standardized best practices and change-control procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience within healthcare, business, or information systems.
• Detailed healthcare knowledge and systems expertise, with the ability to implement medium- to high-complexity applications with minimal guidance.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred in healthcare, business, or information systems; ability to present complex data through charts and graphs.
• Ability to independently develop functionality, analyze and configure applications, lead multidisciplinary teams, and handle complex tasks with general direction.
• Experience mentoring peers and serving as a knowledge resource while supporting junior team members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Problem-solving, multitasking, organizational, change-adaptation, teamwork, customer service, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain collaborative relationships with customers, end users, operational leaders, business partners, technical teams, and vendors.
• For Epic Analysts: certified or proficient in the assigned Epic module, with certification or proficiency obtained within six months of employment and maintained through new-version training.

• Certifications related to the assigned area of focus.
