Senior DevOps Engineer (CI/CD)

Location: Glendale, CA, US; onsite role.

Salary: $120,600–$153,900 annually.

What you will do

• Design, build, debug, and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, including self-hosted runners and custom actions.
• Develop automation scripts, tooling, and pipeline integrations using Python and Bash.
• Manage automated build, packaging, release, and deployment processes for software libraries and rendering engines.
• Administer C++ compilation workflows, including compilers, linkers, libraries, and Docker containers.
• Manage CMake, Conan, and Rez tooling, Git workflows, submodules, hooks, and large repositories.
• Build and troubleshoot software across Linux, macOS with Apple Silicon, and Windows environments.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps engineering, configuration management, software build engineering, or CI/CD development.
• Expert-level Linux administration, configuration, and performance tuning experience, including Bash scripting and package management.
• Extensive hands-on experience building and maintaining enterprise pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Strong Python proficiency for automation, tool development, and system integration.
• Deep understanding of C++ compilation, Docker, Conan, Rez, and CMake build automation.
• Complete mastery of Git workflows, submodules, and large repository management.
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to engineering and management audiences, along with excellent technical documentation practices.

Nice to have

• Experience managing multi-platform builds and troubleshooting compilation dependencies across Linux, macOS with Apple Silicon, and Windows.
• Familiarity with Rez package management and VFX-standard runtime environments.
• Professional experience in visual effects, animation, gaming, or high-performance graphics studio pipelines.
