Specialty Care Finance Strategy & Operations Lead (Biopharma)

Location: Cambridge, MA; hybrid; US and Puerto Rico residents only.

Salary: $161,250.00–$232,916.66 annually.

What you will do

• Design and manage Specialty Care Finance Leadership Team governance, meeting cadence, agenda architecture, executive calendars, and decision-making frameworks.
• Facilitate leadership forums, document and track decisions, drive accountability, and ensure follow-up actions reach closure.
• Partner with People & Culture on talent strategy, organizational design, development planning, survey action plans, team building, and culture initiatives.
• Own internal communications, town halls, leadership messages, all-hands forums, and executive-ready materials for internal audiences.
• Support long-range strategic planning, financial modeling, pipeline assumptions, competitive dynamics, product and indication launches, and cross-organizational strategy across Specialty Care, M&A, Business Development, and Investor Relations.
• Support the Finance Innovation Roadmap, digital transformation, advanced analytics, process automation, executive updates, financially coherent Investor Relations narratives, and launch performance dashboards while ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial/accounting principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in finance or related fields, including significant experience working with senior leadership in a Chief of Staff, business partnering, or governance-oriented capacity.
• Chief of Staff mindset with intellectual curiosity for strategic financial content and improving organizational effectiveness.
• Ability to facilitate complex leadership dynamics, build trust across diverse stakeholders, and drive decisions in ambiguous environments.
• Strong project management skills and ability to lead multiple high-priority workstreams with limited oversight.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including the ability to craft compelling narratives for senior audiences.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to operate in white space and adapt quickly as priorities shift.
