Expansion Project Coordinator (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Dresden, Germany; international travel, including Singapore and the USA, is required from time to time.

What you will do

• Coordinate procurement workstreams across the Equipment Commodity team and fab-expansion stakeholders in Finance, Planning, Engineering, and Facilities.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for CAPEX equipment and services in line with expansion milestones, budgets, and global commodity objectives.
• Manage commercial relationships with equipment suppliers, including capacity commitments, delivery schedules, technical alignment, and supplier development.
• Lead local negotiations and support global negotiations for equipment purchases, installation services, warranties, and long-term support agreements.
• Use Power BI, cleansheeting, and negotiation planners to evaluate costs, track commitments, and support investment decisions.
• Identify and resolve supply, commercial, schedule, capacity, contractual, and project risks while reporting progress, savings, supplier commitments, and key decisions to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in an industrial environment.
• Good written and verbal command of English and German at C1 level.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a structured manner.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally, including to Singapore and the USA, from time to time.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of materials, their application in semiconductor manufacturing, quality requirements, and the related supply base.
• Proficiency in sourcing strategy development and execution, contract management, and supplier performance management.
• Experience leading projects and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in a semiconductor environment or related industry.
