Solution Architect III (Azure)

Location: Irving, TX, United States; hybrid work with 2 days per week in the office. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Define and communicate the technical and architectural vision for solutions, including trade-offs and alternative analysis.
• Evolve solution architecture with application architects and software engineers.
• Define primary solution components, interfaces, and interactions.
• Plan and develop architecture runway enablers through research, prototyping, and evaluation of prospective solutions.
• Translate product requirements into technical requirements and estimable development stories with Product Managers, Product Owners, architects, and engineering teams.
• Participate in Scrum of Scrums, solution demos, and program planning to remove architectural blockers and identify improvements.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Lean, and XP, and experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Advanced knowledge of multi-tier application architecture, full software development life cycle, and application integration.
• Advanced knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture concepts, including SOAP, Web API, REST API, and microservices.
• Advanced knowledge of implementing solution architecture in one or more areas: technology, information, data, application, security, or integration architecture.
• Ability to learn unfamiliar subjects quickly, work independently with accountability, multitask, and manage priorities in a complex multi-team agile environment.
• Ability to work through others to achieve results beyond individual contribution and communicate technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias, integrate AI into workflows, conduct AI-assisted research and content generation, use prompting techniques, and understand responsible AI, data protection, and emerging GenAI capabilities.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Adobe Marketing Cloud products.
• Experience with mobile application development.
• Experience building cloud solution architectures using public clouds, including IaaS and PaaS.
• Experience with containerization using Docker, Docker Swarm, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development or automation.
