Lead Solution Architect (Azure)

Location: Hybrid in Dallas, TX / Irving, TX, United States; two days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and define a shared technical vision for digital products and new initiatives.
• Design end-to-end Azure architectures for mobile and web applications, covering functional and non-functional requirements.
• Guide architects and agile teams through cloud solution design, deployment, architecture standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Shape technology strategy and roadmaps while partnering with technical groups, business stakeholders, and external partners.
• Develop future-state application architecture and support adoption aligned with business strategies.
• Mentor solution architects, lead architectural discussions, transfer knowledge, and contribute to major initiatives.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience as an architect with a proven record of implementing innovative solutions and delivering business value.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum, Lean, or XP and cross-functional teams; ability to manage priorities in a complex multi-team agile environment.
• Experience with multi-tier application architecture, full SDLC application development, application integration, integration methodologies and tools, and multiple technology stacks.
• Advanced knowledge of application design patterns including Domain-Driven Design, microservices, Minimal API, event-driven architecture, federated identity, sharding, and Strangler Fig.
• Experience with HTTP, JSON, XML, REST APIs, GraphQL, and microservices concepts such as CQRS, back-end-for-front-end, and anti-corruption layers.
• Experience with cloud-native applications, public-cloud IaaS and PaaS solutions, and cloud services architecture.
• Experience with containerization using Docker, Docker Swarm, or Kubernetes; structured and unstructured databases and usage patterns.
• Experience with process automation approaches and tooling such as DevOps and AIOps.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining technical solutions and complex technology topics to technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.
• Ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary and cross-functional stakeholder groups, work through ambiguity, influence change, and achieve results through others.
• Experience with Adobe Marketing Cloud products and mobile application development.
• Ability to use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias, integrate AI into workflows, and apply responsible AI principles including ethics and data protection.

• Experience with AI-assisted software development or automation.
• Knowledge of prompting techniques to improve output quality.
• Awareness of emerging GenAI capabilities and limitations.
