AI Software Engineer (Python)

Location: Hybrid in Berlin, Germany; international relocation support is provided if required; opportunity to work from abroad.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain AI and LLM services for internal and potential client-facing applications using software engineering best practices.
• Design and build scalable, production-grade backend systems, APIs, and AWS architectures for AI-enabled solutions.
• Extend Terraform infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and implement testing and monitoring to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of AI-integrated systems.
• Build intelligent workflows with modern agentic orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven features into products and stay current with AI integration, cloud architecture, and scalable backend engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of professional software development experience with Python.
• Generalist mindset with the ability to learn quickly, adapt to new topics, and switch between infrastructure and backend engineering.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
• Confidence working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, together with a hands-on mentality.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with modern agentic workflow orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph.
