Python Software Engineer (Product Engineering Team)

What you will do

• Design, build, and deploy end-to-end features for the brand protection SaaS platform based on customer needs and operator feedback.
• Refactor existing code and optimize complex SQL and PostgreSQL queries for improved performance.
• Integrate automated content moderation, image matching, and rule-based decision engines into client-facing applications in collaboration with AI/ML engineers.
• Maintain code quality through unit testing, code reviews, containerized local environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, QA engineers, data scientists, software engineers, and brand protection experts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Python, including async frameworks, REST APIs, and backend system development.
• Solid experience with relational databases and SQL, including PostgreSQL index tuning and query optimization.
• Full professional English proficiency with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex bugs, optimize inefficient code paths, and work independently and collaboratively.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Terraform, or GitHub Actions.
