BIM Manager

Location: Hybrid, based in the Kilsyth office in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom.

What you will do

• Plan, implement, and manage digital tools for capturing, sharing, and using information across projects and contracts.
• Coordinate the delivery of Project and Asset Information Models in line with Exchange Information Requirements and hirify.global’s ISO 19650 protocol.
• Establish and maintain information management, sharing, storage, archiving, disposal, and security systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to Master and Task Information Delivery Plans and support ISO 19650 reviews, audits, compliance, and associated deliverables.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients, commercial, legal, procurement, DPS, IT, and supply-chain stakeholders to implement and support digital systems.
• Prepare reports, analysis, and forecasts, facilitate CDE training, and identify opportunities for process improvement through digital technology.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a team, use time productively, meet challenging goals, communicate effectively, self-start, and pursue continued education in digital technologies.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to thoroughly check digital engineering outputs before sharing them.
• Technical competency in construction project technology focused on 3D modelling and one or more of: 2D/3D information production, 2D/3D information coordination, visualisation, planning and scheduling, commercial applications, BIM for sustainability, BIM for FM operations including digital twins and AIMs, or MMC and DFMA.
• Technical education or 1–2 years of experience in construction or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience working on construction projects in a digital domain.
• Work in accordance with hirify.global UK&I values.
