Strat Sourcing Spec- Business Services, Facilities & Enterprise Operations

Location: Madrid, Spain; support for Heerlen office and distribution center operations; occasional travel of approximately 10–15% to supplier meetings, operational initiatives, Heerlen, and other global locations; occasional early morning or evening meetings for global collaboration.

What you will do

• Support global sourcing initiatives across facilities, MRO, enterprise operations, logistics, consulting, outsourcing, managed services, and other operational support categories.
• Manage sourcing projects from intake through RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluation, selection, contract execution, implementation, and onboarding.
• Negotiate and manage MSAs, SOWs, amendments, renewals, outsourcing agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Manage supplier relationships, governance, performance, compliance, and accountability for service and quality.
• Support facilities, warehouse, distribution center, MRO, industrial services, logistics, and operational infrastructure initiatives, including Heerlen operations.
• Support TSA exits, supplier transitions, country launches, procurement transformation, governance, process improvements, and procurement technology implementations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, supplier management, or contract management.
• Experience sourcing facilities services, MRO, distribution center operations, logistics services, consulting, managed services, outsourcing, business services, or other operational support categories.
• Demonstrated success leading sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and contract management activities.
• Strong commercial acumen for evaluating supplier proposals, negotiating business terms, and managing supplier relationships.
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced and evolving environment, with strong planning, stakeholder coordination, execution, and timeline management skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently while supporting stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills, including leading meetings, preparing executive-level communications, presenting recommendations, and negotiating with suppliers.
• Highly adaptable and comfortable working in a rapidly changing, growth-oriented organization.

Nice to have

• Experience with facilities management, workplace services, travel, fleet, meetings and events, purchasing card programs, consulting services, or enterprise-wide business services.
• Experience with warehouse operations, distribution centers, 3PL providers, operational supply chain services, manufacturing support, MRO, or facility infrastructure programs.
• Experience supporting TSA exits, business carve-outs, spin-offs, mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Experience onboarding suppliers and supporting operations in new countries or regions.
• Experience with supplier governance, performance management, risk management, business continuity, or operational resilience programs.
• Experience with procurement digitization, workflow automation, intake management, spend analytics, or procurement technology implementations.
• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, manufacturing, biotechnology, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
• Experience with SAP, Ariba, Coupa, VNDLY, or similar procurement and supplier management platforms.
• Dutch language proficiency.
