Sr. Buyer

Location: Remote Spain

What you will do

• Develop and implement long-term category strategies focused on continuous cost deflation through volume, supplier, and product development.
• Lead the identification, development, and validation of quality-improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Conduct market intelligence and identify new suppliers while mitigating supply-chain risks related to markets, economic conditions, and global events.
• Manage supplier relationships, communicate volume forecasts based on annual sales goals, and track supplier performance.
• Build cross-functional relationships with engineering and supply-chain colleagues to understand and support business needs.
• Set supplier expectations and add or replace suppliers as needed to achieve optimal business results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and seven or more years of related work experience.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated analytical ability and strong attention to detail.
• Superior communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including highly developed Excel skills.
• Ability to manage projects and multitask effectively.
• High standards of professionalism, excellent follow-through, and a driven, self-motivated approach.
