Global Lead Buyer - Digital Delivery & Operations

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid work arrangement.

Salary: €59,600–€79,467 per year.

What you will do

• Build and execute competitive sourcing initiative pipelines based on spend analysis, market intelligence, business needs, risks, and opportunities.
• Define and implement category strategies and lead global sourcing initiatives, requests for proposals, negotiations, and digital landscape optimization.
• Consolidate global business needs and deliver savings pipelines in line with targets and business objectives.
• Develop supplier-market expertise, manage supplier performance and business reviews, and ensure procurement technical excellence across total cost of ownership, supplier relationship management, risk, innovation, CSR, HSE, compliance, and quality.
• Coach Global Buyers on sourcing strategies, negotiation tactics, and market knowledge.
• Build partnerships with Digital stakeholders and other business units, present procurement strategies, and coordinate with other Procurement Domains and procurement services.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Procurement or a related field, including buying, sales, partnerships, outsourcing, or project management.
• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Fluent English.
• Professional sourcing skills, technical knowledge of relevant sub-categories, and strong negotiation skills.
• Strategic thinking, results orientation, business understanding, and knowledge of operations and legal aspects including service-level agreements and KPIs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, presentation, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
• Confidence interacting with key stakeholders and vendors and managing complex, undefined business situations.
• Ability to work in a complex multifunctional matrix organization across functions, countries, and cultures.
• Transversal and project management skills, with an ethical, business-integrity, compliance-focused, strategic, and innovative approach.
