Principal Financial Systems Analyst (OneStream)

Location: Northridge, California, United States or Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States; remote work is available for exceptional candidates.

Salary: $121,000–$205,000 USD annually for California locations; U.S. salary ranges also include $109,000–$185,000.

What you will do

• Provide end-user support, maintain platform security, and ensure adherence to corporate policies.
• Support OneStream, EPMWare, and Revenue Reporting platform administration, including data reconciliations, metadata, and hierarchy maintenance.
• Support testing and delivery of platform enhancements and reporting roadmap functionality from ideation through implementation.
• Ensure metadata rules are followed and changes are enabled quickly.
• Support audit reviews and ongoing finance systems processes.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, the broader systems team, and external support providers to resolve issues and improve platform usage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or an equivalent degree in IT or Business Management, plus 7+ years of experience in Finance or Finance Systems.
• Alternatively, an advanced degree in Finance or Accounting, or an equivalent degree in IT or Business Management, plus 5+ years of experience in Finance or Finance Systems.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of OneStream administration experience for FP&A, Close/Consolidation, and FP&A.
• Alternatively, 4+ years of component administration experience with OneStream, Hyperion Planning, HFM, PBCS/EPBCS, FCCS, or Cognos/TM1; certifications are a plus.
• At least 1 year of power-user or administration experience with DRM, EPMWare, or Informatica.
• At least 1 year of Power BI, Power Automate, or SharePoint development experience.
• Ability to read database queries and enhance or create simple Databricks or SQL queries.
• Foundational understanding of cloud and on-premises finance systems.
• Experience in a traditional finance role within controllership or FP&A.
• Ability to collaborate across Finance and IT to turn business opportunities into system solutions.
• Strong finance knowledge, systems aptitude, ability to work with little direct supervision, and comfort with ambiguity and evolving business needs.
• Ability to quickly add value in new roles or responsibilities and demonstrate process improvements leveraging AI.
