Systems Engineer I (Gaming)

Location: Onsite in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA; must work at the assigned location, with minimal business travel of 0–10% or as required.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, repair, and diagnose enterprise network, server, disk-array, software, and related infrastructure issues.
• Prepare network specifications, diagrams, equipment configurations, recommended technologies, and technical documentation.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical network designs for new and existing customer environments.
• Consult with customers on server-room, network-configuration, and security requirements before, during, and after system installation.
• Troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, and other network systems; evaluate hardware-software interfaces and operational requirements.
• Coordinate customer feedback on network stability and reliability and maintain professional customer relationships.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree, relevant certification from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 1 year of experience maintaining operating systems and network infrastructure.
• Professional and efficient verbal and written communication with all levels of the business.
• Experience with Linux, Cisco switches and other networking hardware, local area network configuration and administration, wireless networks using 802.11, firewalls, virtual machines, and software containers.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses.
• Valid driver’s license and flexibility for minimal business travel of 0–10% or as required.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa support.
• Ability to work full-time for 40+ hours per week, including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and communicate effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
