Manager Software Engineering (Hospitality)

Location: Hybrid; must be near one of hirify.global's US offices in Memphis, TN, McLean, VA, or Dallas, TX. Travel up to 5%.

Salary: $100,000–$145,000 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Annual Incentive Bonus Plan.

hirify.global is a global hospitality company with an in-house Technology team creating consumer-facing technologies for the hospitality industry.

What you will do

• Support hirify.global's custom-built financial application and software strategy, ensuring enhancements meet priorities and acceptance criteria.
• Design and deliver technical solutions using established methodologies while meeting business and end-user needs.
• Act as an escalation point for critical priorities, driving issue resolution across engineering teams and external partners.
• Define requirements, use cases, and user stories, supporting Agile delivery through Confluence and Jira.
• Partner with finance, hotel teams, Product, Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Track risks and progress, manage mitigation plans, validate junior developer code, and lead special technology projects and enhancements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Technology or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software or platform design, implementation, and IT project management.
• At least 2 years of experience with ASP/VB.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Python, PowerShell, and SSRS, including writing and debugging complex SQL functions, stored procedures, and views.
• Hands-on knowledge of Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, cloud architecture, and APIs, with the ability to review designs, guide technical decisions, and remove delivery blockers.
• Experience partnering with Product, Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and external partners to translate priorities into executable engineering roadmaps.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement near Memphis, McLean, or Dallas.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6 or more years of Technology-related experience, or High School Diploma/GED plus 12 or more years of Technology-related experience.
• 7 or more years of professional experience in Technology or a related field.
• Experience with Kafka, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Jira project management, Confluence, Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Teams.
