Industrial Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Blaine, Anoka, or Lexington, Minnesota, United States. The Lexington manufacturing facility is expected to open in 2027.

Salary: $89,300–$165,800 base pay annually, with possible annual incentives.

What you will do

• Lead the design and optimization of manufacturing systems, facility layouts, workflows, and material flows to improve throughput, capacity utilization, lead time, and efficiency.
• Use data-driven analysis, Lean methodologies, and continuous improvement practices to improve safety, productivity, quality, cost, cycle time, and flow efficiency.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks, reduce work-in-progress, improve resource utilization, and deliver measurable productivity and cost improvements.
• Conduct time studies, capacity modeling, production simulations, and resource planning to align demand with production capability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing performance, process capability, and quality outcomes.
• Support new product introduction by ensuring manufacturability and scalability; use ERP, analytics, and data visualization tools to standardize engineering practices and track KPI impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience leading complex manufacturing, material flow, or facility optimization initiatives in dynamic or high-volume production environments.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering measurable improvements through Lean manufacturing, process improvement, and systems optimization.
• Experience using CAD tools to develop and evaluate facility layouts and material flow concepts.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau for data-driven decision-making.

Nice to have

• Experience using production simulation software.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• PMP certification.
• SQL experience.
