Industrial Engineer V (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States; travel required 10% of the time; relocation eligible

Salary: $154,000–$212,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead strategic initiatives from opportunity identification through implementation, adoption, value realization, and executive reporting.
• Structure complex business problems, develop hypotheses, analyze large and diverse datasets, and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Develop business cases and executive-level presentations to support strategic decisions and alignment among senior leaders.
• Build partnerships with executive and cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Product Development, and Supply Chain.
• Drive organizational change and lead multiple workstreams and project teams in a highly matrixed environment.
• Improve growth, productivity, profitability, customer experience, cycle time, and cost performance through analytics, digital technologies, process automation, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to derive actionable insights from complex and disparate data sources.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent analytics and business intelligence platforms.
• Proven success working across cross-functional organizations and influencing senior leaders in a highly matrixed environment.
• Experience leading large-scale business transformation, operational excellence, or strategic improvement initiatives.
• Strong executive communication, organizational, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to connect disparate information, identify root causes, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Broad business acumen in service business management, product development, operational strategy, and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, business process improvement, and change management methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, internal consulting, industrial engineering, business transformation, operations strategy, or related disciplines.

Nice to have

• Prior management consulting or internal consulting experience.
• MBA or equivalent business experience.
• Semiconductor industry experience; experience in other complex global manufacturing or technology environments will also be considered.
