Workload Automation Technical Consultant (RunMyJobs)

What you will do

• Run workshops with customer IT operations, SAP Basis, and application teams to capture requirements and define target automation designs.
• Assess existing scheduling estates, including jobs, dependencies, calendars, agents, and run history.
• Design RunMyJobs solutions covering structures, naming standards, calendars, alerting, SLAs, security, and promotion across development, test, and production.
• Install and troubleshoot Redwood agents on Linux, Windows, and UNIX servers; configure Secure Gateway, proxies, certificates, and SAP connectivity.
• Build job definitions, workflows, schedules, events, file triggers, RedwoodScript automation, and REST API integrations.
• Support scheduler migrations, testing, cutover, decommissioning, documentation, knowledge transfer, go-live, and hypercare.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a technical engineering, development, or administration role, including building automated workflows, pipelines, or batch processes.
• Hands-on experience with RunMyJobs, or engineering, development, or administration experience with BMC Control-M, Broadcom AutoSys, or Broadcom Automic Automation (UC4).
• Confident Linux shell scripting with Bash or KSH and working knowledge of PowerShell.
• Ability to read and write Java or a similar language such as C#, Groovy, or Kotlin.
• Linux and Windows Server administration, including installing and troubleshooting services, users, and permissions.
• Knowledge of HTTPS, TLS certificates, proxies, DNS, and firewall rules.
• Working SQL skills and experience calling REST APIs using JSON, API keys, and OAuth.
• Ability to create restartable, parameterized, clearly logged automation and work under change control across development, test, and production environments.
• Understanding of ERP background processing, fluent English, and clear technical documentation skills.

Nice to have

• SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, SAP BW process chains, SAP BTP, SAP IBP, or SAP Cloud ALM experience.
• ServiceNow integration, Azure, AWS, GCP, or managed file transfer using SFTP.
• SAP Basis, BMC Control-M, or Broadcom certification.
• Deep SAP knowledge.
