TL;DR
Consulting, IT Vendor Management Office (VMO) (Healthcare): Leading strategic technology supplier governance and contract lifecycle initiatives for a global healthcare organization with an accent on sourcing strategy, financial optimization, supplier performance, and risk management. Focus on designing governance frameworks, negotiating complex renewals and transitions, presenting executive insights, and maturing VMO capabilities across a complex matrix organization.

Location: São Paulo, Brazil; full-time onsite role.

What you will do

  • Lead governance activities and strategic relationships for major technology suppliers and managed service providers.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for contractual, operational, financial, and performance matters.
  • Define vendor management strategies, governance frameworks, supplier segmentation models, operating procedures, and VMO capabilities.
  • Lead executive governance forums, QBRs, business reviews, steering committees, renewals, renegotiations, TSA separations, transitions, amendments, and commercial optimization initiatives.
  • Drive cost optimization through spend analytics, service credit recovery, demand management, supplier rationalization, and contract optimization.
  • Partner with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Security, Compliance, and operations on sourcing, negotiations, supplier issues, risk mitigation, audit readiness, scorecards, dashboards, automation, and process transformation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Law, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Vendor Management, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Contract Management, or IT-related functions.
  • Experience managing strategic technology suppliers, contracts, and sourcing initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of IT services, software licensing, cloud solutions, supplier governance, and compliance.
  • Experience with supplier performance management, KPIs, governance, and executive stakeholder management.
  • Strong commercial, financial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working in complex global matrix organizations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and CLM platforms such as Coupa, Icertis, or Ariba.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
