Supply Chain Engineering Intern (Manufacturing)

Location: Barueri, São Paulo, Brazil; onsite, part-time

What you will do

• Support product lifecycle management activities covering new product introduction, sustaining, and end of life.
• Create, set up, and maintain bills of materials and coordinate engineering changes.
• Monitor product and production quality, manufacturing line performance, capacity planning, and engineering KPIs.
• Provide technical support for product, test, and manufacturing processes for desktops, notebooks, accessories, and displays.
• Support engineering dashboards and reporting using statistical approaches, data validation, and visualization tools.
• Evaluate product and process changes, resolve quality issues, follow up on test system implementation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering college degree.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; English is desired.
• Analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, quality assurance, and data validation techniques.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management and production engineering theories.
• Technical and supply chain knowledge, particularly in manufacturing and production disciplines.
• Curiosity, eagerness to learn, teamwork, proactivity, self-motivation, and a positive attitude.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of data analytics and visualization BI toolkits, such as Microsoft Power Platform.
• Knowledge of automation and smart manufacturing.
