General Manager - Delivery Operations (Logistics)

Location: Onsite in Moonachie, New Jersey, United States; primarily night work. Travel as required.

What you will do

• Own delivery outcomes across Day and Night operations, including delivery success, on-time performance, dispatch reliability, driver productivity, customer experience, fleet, personal safety, and food safety.
• Lead the Day and Night Delivery AGMs and Trainers, model servant leadership, provide backup coverage, and support the Senior General Manager when absent.
• Own driver safety, training, telematics, violations compliance, and strategies to reduce total recordable incident and vehicle incident rates.
• Manage delivery scorecards, staffing plans, overtime budgets, capital expenditure proposals, labor performance, and P&L-adjacent delivery metrics.
• Develop the food safety program, including MSS execution, cold-chain improvements, compliance, and auditing in partnership with ICQA and Inbound leadership.
• Lead routing governance, scenario testing, optimization, delivery initiatives, continuous improvement, cross-functional problem solving, and network-level delivery strategy discussions.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of operations management experience in warehousing, logistics, or distribution, including final-mile delivery and ownership of outcomes across multiple shifts or functions.
• 3+ years managing through other leaders rather than through direct floor supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver Safety, People, Quality, Productivity, and Cost metrics across multiple shifts.
• Strong working knowledge of routing and dispatch operations, food safety and cold-chain compliance, and safety and training program management.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional projects with measurable outcomes, ideally including network-level or multi-site initiatives.
• Ability to work with matrix teams including Pick/Pack, ICQA, Fleet, HR, and Safety, and build trust with AGMs to enable ownership.
• Strong communication skills, including proficiency with Slack-style instant messaging, spreadsheets, presentations, and other data systems.
• Experience owning labor budgets, overtime, and P&L-adjacent delivery metrics.
