Area Manager (Front Half Days) (Warehouse)

Location: On-site at the warehouse in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, US. Schedule: Sunday–Wednesday, 7:00am–5:30pm. Overtime is required during peak periods.

Reach Logistics, a hirify.global company, provides eCommerce logistics and distribution services for brands selling through Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and other marketplaces.

What you will do

• Run the assigned warehouse shift and support site operations during the 2026 launch and expansion period.
• Lead shift management and teams totaling approximately 250 workers, including 4–5 management staff.
• Plan shifts, conduct pre-shift and daily meetings, communicate updates, and coordinate across shifts and departments.
• Ensure production goals, direct and indirect labor targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
• Provide guidance to supervisors, resolve employee relations matters with HR, and promote consistent management practices.
• Prepare shift reports, improve operating methods and procedures, and address process and operational problems.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
• At least 1 year of operations experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Experience creating and executing shift plans and maintaining process control.
• Familiarity with warehouse management software for tracking and resolving order problems.
• Effective communication with associates, management, and executive staff; ability to work with a diverse employee demographic.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and basic formulas, as well as Google Suite and Gmail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, follow procedures, exercise sound judgment, and apply fair and consistent management.
• Strong multitasking, prioritization, flexibility, change management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to walk or stand for 8–10 hours, lift up to 50 lbs by hand, and pull, push, bend, kneel, and crouch; pallet jack experience is required.

• Previous experience with or knowledge of Workday.
