Distribution Team Lead (Logistics)

Location: Hidalgo, Texas, United States; onsite distribution operations

What you will do

• Lead distribution and warehouse operations, assign duties, distribute workload, and provide coverage across operational areas.
• Monitor service execution, operational metrics, shipment processing, cycle times, inventory accuracy, and data integrity.
• Manage inventory, OSD, process, and customer exceptions; identify root causes and escalate issues for resolution.
• Maintain customer-specific instructions, SOPs, shipment files, codes, trace types, events, correspondence, and approved service-provider usage.
• Support personnel management through scheduling, performance reviews, one-on-ones, training completion, coaching, and problem solving.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, local regulations, credit policy, and health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Business Administration or related education, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–2 years of experience leading teams preferred.
• Ability to learn and apply global logistics industry processes and procedures.
• Customer-satisfaction orientation, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to influence employees at all levels.
• Strong time management, attention to detail, problem-solving, multitasking, and business judgment.
• Ability to complete work within standard procedures, guidelines, and office policies.
• Self-driven approach and strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
