Senior Project Manager (Databricks)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of a large-scale enterprise data platform, including scope, planning, budgets, timelines, quality, risks, dependencies, and client communication.
• Coordinate distributed Data Engineering, BI, and Business Analysis teams and manage roadmap execution.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, and client stakeholders to review solution designs, resolve delivery challenges, and improve platform efficiency and infrastructure cost visibility.
• Establish delivery governance covering backlog management, change control, requirements documentation, Definition of Ready, and Definition of Done.
• Support data quality, reconciliation, reliability, platform stability, and predictable delivery of enhancements.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and contribute to long-term engagement growth.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Delivery or Project Management, including ownership of large-scale BI, Data Platform, or Data Engineering programs.
• Experience managing end-to-end project delivery across scope, budget, timelines, quality, and stakeholder management.
• Experience delivering enterprise data platforms built on Databricks or similar technologies such as Snowflake or Google BigQuery.
• Good understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines, incremental loading, semantic or dimensional data modeling, data quality, and data lineage.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and orchestration tools such as Airflow, dbt, or similar.
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills, including direct work with senior business and technical leaders.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments using Jira or similar project management tools.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional distributed Engineering, Business Analysis, and BI teams.
• English level C1 or higher, with confidence communicating with international clients and leading meetings.

Nice to have

• Experience in Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare, or other data-intensive industries.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, SAP, the Microsoft ecosystem, or Power BI.
• Previous experience in Databricks or SAP partner ecosystems.
• Experience delivering semantic data models or AI-ready data platforms.
• Exposure to AI, forecasting, anomaly detection, or analytical use cases built on enterprise data platforms.
• Experience working alongside multiple vendors in complex enterprise environments.
