Product Development Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Totowa, New Jersey, United States; occasional domestic and international travel required (less than 20%).

Salary: $71,600–$121,700 annually.

What you will do

• Define requirements and specifications for chemical analysis processes with Applications, R&D, and engineering teams.
• Develop improvement and test plans, coordinate vendor execution, and evaluate materials for device and design compatibility with application chemistry.
• Conceptualize new device designs, defining requirements, capability gaps, error budgets, and constraints.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams to review designs and test plans; execute testing and analyze device and system performance.
• Troubleshoot system and subsystem issues, implement solutions, and lead advanced troubleshooting in manufacturing and field environments.
• Support internal and external customers in implementing processes, building and using tools effectively, and optimizing tool performance.
