TPS Engineer (Semiconductors)

Location: Santa Clara, CA; on-site work with travel required 50% of the time. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $133,500–$183,500 per year.

What you will do

• Support new product introductions, early learning shipments, critical customer issues, special projects, and product hardware performance at assigned customer sites.
• Provide third-level escalation support for hardware and software stability issues and engage customers in technical discussions.
• Lead failure analysis, define resolution plans, and develop designs to correct long-term technical issues.
• Support alpha and beta site installation, operation, calibration, servicing, and testing of new hardware, software, and processes.
• Generate and present system performance, process, availability, MTBF, MTBI, and I/W spending data.
• Create and review technical documentation, support field implementation, and organize on-site training for internal and external engineers.

Requirements

• Demonstrated depth and/or breadth of expertise in a specialized discipline or field.
• Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
• Ability to lead others in solving complex problems using sophisticated analytical judgment and innovative solutions.
• Ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate with others to adopt different points of view.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
