IT Network Administrator (Networking)

What you will do

• Maintain, secure, monitor, and modernize a highly available IT network across office, testing, and cloud environments.
• Install, configure, optimize, and maintain multi-vendor switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and controllers.
• Provide 1st-, 2nd-, and 3rd-level support for network and connected system environments.
• Analyze outages and faults, restore service rapidly, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Participate in global infrastructure and connectivity projects, including network routing and cloud VPC connectivity.
• Work with software engineering and data teams to support low-latency development environments and improve network automation.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in Network Administration, Systems Administration, or Network Engineering.
• Experience managing multi-vendor network environments and recovering complex infrastructure from outages.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in collaborative technical environments.
• Strong practical understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN segmentation, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and IPsec VPNs.
• Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting enterprise switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless controllers across major vendors.
• Experience using network monitoring tools such as Checkmk, Grafana, Wireshark, or SNMP-based platforms for traffic analysis and diagnostics.
• Conceptual understanding of Ansible, Terraform, Bash, or Python, with the ability to read, understand, run, and troubleshoot existing scripts and playbooks.
• Familiarity with Linux, including Debian/RHEL, and Windows network configuration and troubleshooting.

Nice to have

• Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment such as a startup, scale-up, or rapidly growing enterprise.
• CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIS, or equivalent network engineering credentials.
