Staff Software Engineer (TypeScript)

Location: Remote, Americas timezone

Salary: $180,000–$240,000 per year

What you will do

• Design APIs, database schemas, cron jobs, queues, and product functionality.
• Improve infrastructure for ingesting, storing, and materializing tens of billions of analytics events per month.
• Own projects from conception through shipping while maintaining modular, maintainable, high-quality code.
• Use customer feedback to deliver impactful product features and turn Figma designs into pixel-perfect user interfaces.
• Support technical questions, improve developer documentation, and use AI to enhance internal tooling and workflows.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technical roles at fast-paced startups, such as CTO, founding engineer, software engineer, or technical product engineer.
• Proficiency with Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, Prisma, MySQL, Redis, QStash or Kafka, and ClickHouse.
• Strong systems design skills.
• Ability to turn Figma designs into pixel-perfect UI.
• Excellent time management, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Comfort collaborating in a fully remote, global team.
• This role is for staff-level engineers only.

• Experience taking initiative and working across multiple areas.
• Previous founder experience and experience scaling infrastructure at a hyper-growth startup.
• Background in marketing analytics, attribution, or affiliate management.
