What you will do

• Develop and maintain business-critical applications for multiple customers using C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework, and Entity Framework Core.
• Design, build, and support distributed APIs and multi-tier integrations across client systems.
• Modernise and re-platform legacy applications using N-Tier, MVC, Event-Driven, and Microservices architecture patterns where appropriate.
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Azure DevOps, support releases and deployments, and work within formal change management processes for production releases.
• Apply unit testing and TDD practices, work with Microsoft Azure services, and create client-focused technical documentation.
• Provide technical mentorship and peer code reviews, and support responsible adoption of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.

Requirements

• Current .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core development experience.
• JavaScript and SQL experience, preferably with MS SQL Server.
• Experience with Entity Framework or similar ORM tools.
• Data transformation and integration experience, including data service extracts and reports.
• CI/CD experience with tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with manual deployment using IIS Manager.
• Experience and awareness of the wider Microsoft technology stack, plus exposure to or strong interest in Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub version control, Azure Repos, and Azure DevOps.

Nice to have

• Unit testing and TDD experience with tools such as xUnit, NUnit, or Moq.
• Experience with formal change and incident management processes such as ITIL.
• Exposure to modern architecture patterns including Microservices, Event-Driven, and Clean Architecture.
• Interest in AI-assisted development tooling and governance.
