DevOps Engineer (CI/CD)

What you will do

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab, and Jenkins, including artifact promotion controls.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers, OpenShift projects, and non-production environments.
• Manage configuration management, branching, tagging, versioning, and the product configuration management plan.
• Administer Jira, Confluence, and GitHub for the program.
• Support application monitoring, alerting, patching, and after-hours deployment windows.
• Design platform standards, lead hardening and vulnerability-scan remediation, and mentor others as a subject-matter expert.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in systems administration or DevOps for Mid / Level II / “Journeyman” positions.
• 5+ years of experience, including CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code, for Mid / Level II / “Journeyman” positions.
• 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years leading DevOps on federal systems, for SME / Senior / Level III positions.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins.
• Ability to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential.
• Bachelor’s degree.

• OpenShift and Ansible experience.
• Experience with configuration management plans, branching and versioning.
• Jira, Confluence, and GitHub administration experience.
• Application monitoring, patching, and after-hours deployment experience.
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator or Engineer certification; Red Hat Ansible or OpenShift certification; AWS or Azure DevOps Engineer certification.
• Atlassian Jira Administrator certification.
• Security+ certification.
