What you will do

• Provision and operate VA Enterprise Cloud environments, OpenShift clusters, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux hosts.
• Automate infrastructure and deployments using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute cloud migrations, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
• Manage cloud networking, firewall rules, identity and access management, and monitoring.
• Create architecture, data-flow, and cloud security documentation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience, including 5+ years with AWS or Azure and 3+ years with OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform and Ansible, plus CI/CD experience.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Able to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential.

Nice to have

• VA Enterprise Cloud or AWS GovCloud experience.
• Experience with cloud migration, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
• Experience with cloud networking, firewall rules, and IAM.
• AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification, or Azure Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification.
• Red Hat Certified Specialist or Architect in OpenShift, or Red Hat Enterprise Linux certification.
