Senior Full Stack Developer (Vue/Django)

SD Solutions is a global staffing company recruiting for a mortgage technology client that operates a direct marketplace for whole-loan mortgage transactions, including pricing, automated eligibility assessment, and transaction management.

What you will do

• Build full-stack features with Vue 3 and TypeScript on the frontend and Django with Django REST Framework on the backend.
• Evolve loan pricing and investor eligibility matching engines.
• Integrate with LOS platforms, due diligence providers, credit vendors, and valuation vendors.
• Design data models and background pipelines that remain performant as volume grows.
• Develop and maintain test coverage with pytest, Vitest, and Playwright.

Requirements

• Daily hands-on experience with AI coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar, including running several in parallel and judging their output.
• Hands-on experience building AI into products, including LLM features, agents, retrieval, and evaluation.
• 5+ years of production software development experience with substantial depth across both frontend and backend development.
• 3+ years of hands-on Vue.js and TypeScript experience.
• Strong Python and Django skills, REST API knowledge, and database expertise covering schema design, query performance, and safe migrations.
• Experience in complex platform companies involving real integrations, real data, and real scale.
• Strong UI/UX judgment and clear written and spoken communication.
• Proven remote work experience, including working independently from a home office and communicating primarily in writing.
• Strong teamwork, independence, ability to manage multiple threads, proactive learning, and comfort in a client-facing professional environment.
• Charisma and the ability to lead and influence without a formal title.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Fintech or mortgage industry background.
• OpenSearch experience.
• Playwright experience.
