Senior Platform Engineer (Python+React)

What you will do

• Develop and customize Apache Superset functionality, including visualization plugins, charts, and UI enhancements.
• Extend Superset frontend and backend components to meet functional requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and provide ongoing production support.
• Investigate and resolve platform performance, stability, and reliability issues.
• Support deployment, configuration, and optimization in containerized environments, including work with PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery, and Amazon Redshift integrations.
• Collaborate on architecture improvements, technical decisions, code reviews, documentation, and engineering practices.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience in software engineering, BI engineering, or analytics platform development.
• Strong Python development skills, including backend debugging and API work.
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and React for frontend development and customization.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm, including deployment, configuration, scaling, and operations.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with distributed engineering teams.
• Upper-Intermediate English, B2, or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services, particularly Amazon Redshift, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Apache Superset implementation, customization, and production support.
