Enterprise Network Engineer III

Location: Poland, Kutno (remote or hybrid based on location); limited travel within EMEA and other regions may be required.

What you will do

• Assess network capacity requirements and maintain enterprise network standards, reference architectures, roadmaps, documentation, diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Design, deploy, configure, optimize, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, cloud-connected networks, routers, switches, firewalls, wireless solutions, and network management platforms.
• Administer BlueCat DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management services, monitor network performance and security, and ensure connectivity for enterprise-connected equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across geographic regions, lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions, and manage hardware and software lifecycle activities.
• Collaborate with Information Security teams, vendors, service providers, business partners, and global IT teams on secure network architectures and complex modernization projects.
• Develop automation solutions, research emerging technologies, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical leadership and guidance.

Requirements

• University or college degree (AA, BA, or BS) and 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise-class network infrastructures.
• Fluent English.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments, plus SD-WAN technologies.
• Experience with network capacity planning, enterprise network management, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions; BlueCat experience is required for the described administration responsibilities.
• Experience with router and switch security, firewall management, perimeter protection, security logging, incident response, and wired or wireless guest network design.
• Strong enterprise experience across multiple LAN locations, global WANs, international locations, data centers, and VLAN separation.
• Strong technical knowledge of Cisco, Meraki, Arista, BlueCat, network hardware, IOS/EOS, TCP/IP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, STP, PBR, MLPP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN, QoS, authentication, and network access control.
• Excellent knowledge of VoIP technologies including QoS, MGCP, RTP, SIP, SCP, and H.323; wireless access points; hardware and IOS/EOS troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Cisco Nexus platforms, Cisco ISE, Fortinet firewalls, monitoring, performance, inventory, backup, circuit testing, packet capture, and protocol analysis tools.
• Experience with Puppet, SolarWinds, New Relic, ServiceNow, Cisco CSM, Splunk, Prime, and related IT management products and services.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, communicate and present clearly, create technical documentation, collaborate globally, handle pressure, adapt to change, and maintain a service- and solution-oriented approach.
• Knowledge of data privacy practices and laws, networking, infrastructure, server, application, and development technologies; domain expertise in IT operations, security, or compliance is desirable.
• Participation in on-call support, occasional after-hours maintenance, extended sitting, and occasional lifting or transport of network equipment are required.

• Cisco CCNA or higher, Arista ACE, Fortinet NSE, Aruba EdgeConnect/Silver Peak, BlueCat, and other network or IT certifications.
• Network automation and scripting with Python, Ansible, or REST APIs.
• Experience building relationships across business and corporate functions and working in a fast-paced, changing global environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time-management, prioritization, and communication skills.
• Ability to take responsibility, achieve results, and execute multiple simultaneous projects.
