Senior Network Engineer (Palo Alto Networks)

Location: Remote; coverage hours are 1 AM–9 AM Eastern Time (US). The posting also references Tbilisi and New York.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security incidents in production.
• Own tickets from triage and diagnosis through resolution and documentation.
• Administer Palo Alto firewalls, including policies, NAT, VPN, and threat prevention.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive remediation.
• Support routing and switching operations involving BGP, OSPF, and VLANs.
• Participate in the on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of network engineering experience, primarily in operations or support.
• Hands-on Palo Alto firewall administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar.
• Strong diagnostic skills under production pressure and the ability to work independently.
• Clear written documentation and communication in English at C1+ level.
• Availability for 1 AM–9 AM Eastern Time (US), Monday to Friday, plus on-call rotation.

Nice to have

• PCNSA or PCNSE certification.
