Telecommunications Technician III

Location: Warsaw, Poland; flexible hybrid mode with onsite infrastructure incidents and planned maintenance activities.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair telecommunications and physical network infrastructure.
• Support fibre optic and twisted-pair copper cabling systems, infrastructure installations, upgrades, and changes.
• Handle infrastructure incidents and support tickets, including physical connectivity and cabling issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and support onsite infrastructure incidents and planned maintenance activities.
• Coordinate external telecommunications providers, vendors, contractors, and telecom carriers.
• Collaborate with network, data centre, and IT infrastructure teams and support telecommunications infrastructure design for office facilities.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of telecommunications infrastructure experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with copper and twisted-pair cabling.
• Practical knowledge of fibre optic infrastructure.
• Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cabling systems.
• Understanding of telecommunications cabling standards.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Experience working with telecom providers and contractors.
• Experience handling infrastructure incidents and support tickets.
• Ability to work independently onsite.
• Good English communication skills.

• Experience with BICSI cabling standards.
• Structured cabling design experience.
• Experience with dark fibre and carrier fibre rings.
• Data centre cabling infrastructure experience.
• Experience with major telecommunications carriers.
• Experience designing cabling for new facilities.
