Sr. Competitive Intelligence Analyst III (Security for AI)

Location: USA - Remote

Base salary: $145,000–$220,000 per year for U.S. candidates; bonuses, equity grants, and benefits are also offered.

What you will do

• Analyze the Security for AI market, including AI Detection and Response, generative AI application security, autonomous-agent protection, and the full AI lifecycle.
• Assess competitors’ ability to protect prompts, models, and agents and detect and remediate emerging threats such as prompt injection and data leakage.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative win/loss analysis to identify why CrowdStrike wins or loses against competitors.
• Provide competitive deal support, sales guidance, executive summaries, and recommendations for sales tactics and product strategy.
• Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, Corporate Strategy, Investor Relations, Competitive Intelligence, and technical stakeholders.
• Independently manage project plans, requirements, timelines, content, and ongoing tracking of the Security for AI competitive landscape.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in the cybersecurity market with a primary focus on Security for AI/ML.
• Demonstrated understanding of AI/LLM attack surfaces, including prompt injection, model poisoning, training data leakage, and AI governance.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, with experience in at least two of the following areas: sales engineering/pre-sales, competitive intelligence, solution architecture, product management, technical marketing, or product marketing.
• Deep familiarity with the Security for AI competitive landscape, major industry players, AI safety frameworks, and the evolving regulatory environment.
• Ability to synthesize complex technical concepts related to AI threats and security into field-actionable guidance and executive summaries.
• Superior communication skills, including presenting to senior and executive-level management.
• Strong people and project management skills for managing initiatives and building rapport with cross-functional teams and third parties.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, increase efficiency, and drive business outcomes.

Nice to have

• Certifications in AI/ML, Data Science, or specialized cybersecurity fields.
• Familiarity with large language models and generative AI in a security context.
• Direct customer experience, including selling or supporting security products in a customer support or field role.
