Sr Director - DfT, Test Development, HW Roadmap (ATE)

What you will do

• Lead DfT, BiST, test, and ATE hardware engineering teams across digital, analog, mixed-signal, memory, HSIO, and RF products.
• Define DfT and BiST methodologies, production test flows, quality screens, and test methods focused on coverage, quality, multi-site capability, and lowest cost-of-test.
• Define ATE platforms and roadmap solutions based on 5–10-year product roadmaps, including test-method libraries for standardization across products and platforms.
• Build and code ATE test plans for characterization and production testing of high-speed interfaces, analog, mixed-signal, RF, memory, and other IC products.
• Set ATE hardware strategy for probe and final test, including integration, validation, qualification, factory buyoff, handlers, probers, sockets, and temperature-test capabilities.
• Coordinate with Design, DfT, BU PE, NPDE, cost-entitlement, and factory teams to improve product-development processes, test methods, and factory-installed test cells.

Requirements

• MSEE or BSEE with at least 15–20+ years of Product/Test experience and at least 10+ years working with DfT and BiST strategies across digital, RF, and analog/mixed-signal products.
• At least 10+ years of management experience.
• Experience with ATE platforms and defining complete ATE roadmap and test-cell solutions.
• Prior hands-on experience with DfT, ATE test equipment for IC testing, digital, analog, RF, mixed-signal circuits, DfT strategies, test methods, and test instrumentation.
• Strong track record of bringing multiple products and technologies into high-volume production.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, including collaboration with cross-functional teams across internal development and factory sites.
• Good understanding of product financial metrics and demonstrated cost-reduction experience.
• Strong knowledge of factory operations, assembly, and test operations.
• Familiarity with protocols and industry standards for high-speed interfaces and analog and mixed-signal circuits.
• Ability to work closely with Design, Design DfT, and NPDE PE teams to direct, guide, and influence product development.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PCIe, LVDS, CSI, DSI, QSPI, DDR, HDMI, USB, power management, massive multi-site testing, and IPs requiring safety and security.
• Project management skills, including innovation, execution, and navigating ambiguity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
