Director, Digital IP Roadmap

What you will do

• Define and maintain the digital IP roadmap in alignment with current and anticipated product needs.
• Gather and reconcile input from product definition, architecture, design, applications, customers, and external standards.
• Assess and prioritize immediate market needs and longer-term portfolio improvements across more than 200 IPs.
• Coordinate IP streams and communicate roadmap priorities, plans, and dependencies across global teams.
• Drive IP change management and align development plans with roadmap priorities.
• Evaluate IP features and subsystems, including emerging display, vision, and audio areas, while considering feasibility and implementation effort.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, including experience in a product-focused organization.
• Experience working across multiple functions such as design, systems, architecture, applications, or product definition.
• Hands-on digital IP design experience, including prior RTL design experience.
• Strong understanding of SoC design and the role of digital IP in product development.
• Ability to assess technical proposals, implementation tradeoffs, and development effort.
• Experience contributing to or driving IP planning, roadmaps, or cross-functional development initiatives.
• Clear communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to align stakeholders with different perspectives.
• A collaborative, open approach to gathering input, building alignment, and making decisions.
• Experience with wireless or general-purpose SoCs is relevant; direct people-management experience is not required.
• Experience with AI-powered tools and technologies used to enhance productivity, analysis, and decision-making.
