Power Test Engineer

Location: Onsite in Taipei, Taipei City, Taiwan, with an expectation to work primarily from an HPE office.

What you will do

• Design portions of engineering solutions to test and evaluate systems, equipment, and devices according to engineering principles, specifications, and requirements.
• Implement and execute established test plans, schedules, and requirements for subsystems of existing designs.
• Build testing tooling, fixtures, and apparatuses based on provided specifications.
• Develop working relationships with internal and outsourced testing and development partners.
• Work as part of a project team to develop and execute reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality test solutions for low- to moderately-complex products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Typically 0–2 years of experience.
• Experience with or understanding of testing tools and software packages.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of material properties and hardware and electrical component design.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Mastery of English and the local language.
